Had an intermittent shifting (hesitation and lurching during upshifts; 1-2-3-4) issue with a transmission previously rebuilt in September, 2016 by Woodford Transmission. The 2003 Ford 5R55E transmission is still under the 12month/12k miles warranty, so I returned the truck to the shop for their diagnosis and repair as needed. Mind you, I had just spent $1300.00 to have the original transmission semi-overhauled. Knowing full well for that expense, I could have installed a rebuilt transmission for less! Anyway, no transmission fault codes were stored, displayed, or retrieved. The shop kept the truck for a few days; checked fluid level (I had already done this), checked for the well-known harsh upshift 2-3 condition-no problems noted or reported. Finally I called the shop without hearing any response - and was told 'no issues, could not duplicate the problem'. Needless to say, I'm still nervous, but at least it's still under the warranty until September 2017.
