We took our vehicle to Wal-Mart in Cape Girardeau, MO today for an oil change and tire rotation. After standing in the 100 heat for 45 minutes in order to get "checked in", we finally get some kid who is on DAY ONE of the job! He tells us that he has never had any training. We were the 2nd person in line. After about another 20 minutes, we leave our car for a oil change and tire rotation. We come back 2 1/2 hours later, pay and check our papers only to find out that a tire rotation was not done. Upon asking why it had not been done, we are told that it was not on our ticket. Come to find out, our ticket had been rewritten and signed by SOMEONE who CLAIMED to be my husband AKA forged his signature due to the fact that they didn't have enough of the oil we needed in stock. So, instead of asking us if that was okay, they SIGNED and ACCEPTED it for us! I found that out when I asked about the tire rotation. They forgot to add the tire rotation to our new ticket. We get the "tire rotation" done and get home only to find out that they did not rotate our tires. How do we know? We marked them with permanent markers. Upon calling the store to speak with a "GM", we are told that "he" is not there right now. I get an Assistant Manager who claims to have checked the video for the day and says that they did rotate the tires. We ask to see the footage as proof as this was to done in preperation for a long trip and to ensure our safety. She refuses to show it to us and says that we are "lying". Suddenly, she hangs up on me. I called back and was told by another "assistant manager" that this Wal-Mart does not have a general manager. Apparently it is ran by Assistant Managers and Shift Managers. Really?? Last time I checked, most places such as Wal-Mart, have a GM! I doubt they changed the oil in our car as the Manager for Tire and Auto was too busy talking about his "vomit" and spitting in trashcans. What a winner!
