Laura, maybe instead of opting for the cheaper parts you should have went for the new ones? Personally I have had great experience with them, they did my wheel bearings and saved me money by letting me do some of the leg work(as I requested) I chose brand new parts to be sure everything was perfect, a few extra bucks saves money in the long run. I hate when people bash a mechanic for using refurbished parts and the customer requested the part then when it breaks they blame the shop not the person who refurbished it... anyway NAPA screwed me by giving me the wrong parts, total performance installed them only to find out they were wrong when they test drive it, it was drivable but made noise so I drove it until they new parts came in, they did all the same work at no additional charge, I gave NAPA down the road though and they wouldnt even refund the parts they gave me. It even said my vehicle type on the receipt they gave me and the parts didnt match what I had... dont blame the shop blame the manufacturer...
