If he's still in business, go anywhere else. If you find Peter Beals doing work in any other shop, don't go there. Minor accident I could have fixed in a weekend for $250. He got $6000 from insurance. Paint is bubbling...rust spots? Trunk leaks. Trunk lid needs to be slammed to close. Missing most of the screws that hold things in place. He ran over something in his shop and damaged the front end, flattened the tire and then broke the wheel mounting bolt. He never paid me back for the repair of that. He scratched parts that weren't damaged in the accident. He seemed to have no clue how to mount the rear bumper back on and I had to suggest he needed the mounting brackets that were on the old bumper. He said it was guaranteed for life, but he is long gone. I would never bring it back to him anyway. I don't know what his hourly rate was. He took six weeks to get the job done in the half as*8* way he did it. What ever he got paid per hour, it was far too much.
