Service Pro Auto & Truck Repair

Took my car there for a problem it had. I knew what the problem was already, but wanted a quote. The guy there told me they would have to look at it more extensively for an accurate quote. I asked if there was a charge for it...he replied No . I agreed, and left the car there. I get a call at the end of the day with them telling me they looked at the car and they told me how much it would be which was about $300.00 more than anywhere else. I advised I could not do the job now. I came the next morning and the same guy that told me no charge, says....That will be $46.00...and this included $3.00 in parts????? What parts lol? I asked him about what he said regarding no charge for the diagnostic, and he replied they had to take more time than they thought. I paid the fee though. I would not trust this shop based on the fact that , YES, they did lie by telling me one thing and then doing another. Really sad to see this kind of activity, this is why Mechanics have such a bad wrap these days. Take your business elsewhere.
