If I could give this shop no stars I would, but unfortunately that is not an option. I have reported my issue to the BBB and am sending a certified letter to Sears Holdings Corporation because of this issue. On 04FEB17 at 1000 I took my Mazda 6 to the Sears Holding Auto Center to receive an oil change. I left to do some shopping at the Sears that is right across the parking lot. I received a phone call from a lady named Dee who I thought was telling me about my sensor light being on for my tire pressure. I told her I was aware of the light and that I had taken it to the Mazda dealership and they told me it was a manufacture defect with the light on the dashboard and the tires and tire pressure for my car was perfectly fine. I then asked her to not do anything with the tires and only change the oil as I did not want Sears to work on my tires or even check the tire pressure because I was already working with Mazda about the light. She said they would not look at the tires and that she understood that I only wanted my oil changed. However, when I went to pick up my vehicle Chris, the mechanic informed me that they had ripped out my tire valve "trying to unscrew the cap to check the tire pressure". I then asked to speak to the general manager who told me that the "entire valve broke off in the technicians hand while trying to turn the cap off the valve". I collected both the valve stem and the sensor to examine the part for corrosion or any other evidence that that it would even be possible to break metal off in someones bare hand. There was no evidence of corrosion, on the interior of the part or the exterior. This troubled me because the general manager Micheal Jacobs wanted me to pay for the repair that his technician did to my vehicle. He was not willing to repair the Mazda sensor that they had torn out of my tire, and in order for me to drive away they replaced it with a sub-par part.
