The shop replaced the head gasket, Intake gasket, sent the head to a machine shop to correct slight warpage.(white smoke was comming out of the exhaust) Also had the timing belt, water pump, idler gear, replaced. After I got it back, the power steering started making noises, and I could smell fuel whenever I stopped at a stoplight. I called another mechanic to look at the Rav4. Upon his inspection, he pointed out that two bolts had been left out of the intake manifold and that Quality Auto Care had used a silicone sealer on the intake gasket which is not supposed to be done. In addition the fuel rail was leaking fuel and the belt that drives the power steering pump had not been adjusted correctly. I'm not sure what cars they are qualified to work on, but from now on...it sure isn't anything that I own!
