patricks has great reviews but when they gave me an appointment they told me 1 to 2 hours for an estimate turned out to be over 3 hours. charged me 85 dollars to drive my car 7 miles and put up on a lift and just look at it not even hooked up to a computer. the mechanic told me one thing and wrote a report completely different. made me feel very uncomfortable so much that I decided not to have my work ever done there on no vehicles. don't know how they can have a good reviews with so much polite sarcasm used by their manager that acted like I was not suppose to ask any questions what so ever even though I was paying out my own pocket. made me late for my college class all because no one could find a price on a single item it took them one hour additional to reach that point and completely twisted my words with a third party that called to talk to them as a different story than what they told me and a witness I had on my cell phone the entire time that heard the entire conversations of my questions and their answers to be different the next day to the other party. I would not recommend this shop to no one because they even missed the obvious visual flat spots on my tires and said that there no flat spots and called it variations instead. this is not a shop that is honest and obviously might make a kickback with money just making up stories. good thing I have a witness. service polite sarcasm with a smile and long waits.

I was having trouble with my brakes one day. I searched google and found Patrick's. I called and spoke to Mark, who told me to bring my car right in! To my surprise, the brakes were bad and Mark explained everything to me in regards to what was needed. I was on the road the same day! Great job Patrick's! I will most definitely use you again and will recommend you to my friends! Thanks again!
I heard a noise from my brakes and searched google for a respectable shop. I found Patricks Auto called and explained my situation. i was told to bring my vehicle in immediatley. To keep it short i was informed that my front brakes were worn and they could save my brake rotors. I'm very happy with the service i recieved at a fair price. i will continue to use these guys in the future. Very proffesional.
Clean place, nice people, fair price.
I chose Patrick's out of so many other auto shops because of their good reviews online. I don't know how much the hourly rate is so I just put $80. I came in because my car was making a sound and to just get a general check-up and tune-up. They didn't find the cause of the noise and wanted $483 to change 4 spark plugs and do a radiator flush. I was shocked. I kindly and respectfully said I had to think about it and was told I would only be charged about $86 with tax for the inspection that look at least two hours while I waited in a waiting room with no water or anything. They charged me $105 for the inspection, not doing anything besides switching my front tires with my back ones. Not a big deal, compared to the $483 they wanted to simply change spark plugs and fill anti-freeze/coolant. I changed the spark plugs myself which literally took no longer than ten minutes. I bought 30 bucks worth of antifreeze/coolant and distilled water and flushed the radiator myself. Literally possibly two of the easily maintenance tasks you can possibly do on your car. Spark plugs go from about $2-10 dollars each and coolant about $15 bucks. I also bought a new radiator cap which cost like $8. I saved hundreds of dollars. A mechanic approached me while I was changing my spark plugs in the parking lot of the auto parts store. He offered to change all four of my spark plugs for only $40. But of course, I easily just took them out with a ratchet and installed the new ones in less than ten minutes. http://cars.costhelper.com/ will help you estimate how much a fair price for an automotive service would be. $483 is definitely not a fair price for what took me no more than 45 minutes and a fraction of the price in parts. I feel so disappointed and saddened that even a business that seemed to have good reviews online ultimately turned out to be another overpriced auto shop looking to take advantage of people. It's like- who and what can you trust anymore? Ultimately it's up to us to educate ourselves and to not be taken advantage of. At the end of the day, we are responsible. How do those who use dishonest business practices in order to gain wealth sleep at night? “The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death.” Proverbs 21:6.
Long time customer with PatRicks and I must say they have the best attitude and respect for their customers. I had a problem with my car starting, I called AAA and they installed a new battery which did not get my car started (they must get a commission on battery installs) so on the tow truck and to the shop. I called into PatRicks to let them know I was coming and my trouble, Leo had my car written up and ready to check it out before it came off the tow truck. They had my car check out and estimated in no time. I needed a starter and for my Toyota they can be a bit pricey but not to worry I was at the rite place. Sara had found several different starter options for me. I had to leave the car over night but it saved me $200 and of course they gave me a ride home and picked me up the next afternoon when the work was completed. At no other place could I have gotten the options that PatRicks offers their customers and that's why I will go no where else. Thanks again to PatRicks Auto and Truck Repair for a job well done with exceptional customer service.
I started going to Patrick's and loved it so much, I sent my mother with her car! They had a ladies' night with great information for women drivers, which she loved, and she walked away so impressed she had me schedule her next oil change right away. She couldn't stop talking about all the inspections they do, just for an oil change. I told her that's why I sent her there. These guys are great! P.S. Awesome waiting room makes waiting for your car no problem, and Leo will entertain you, too!
Camp ground recommended PatRicks and WOW what a place. Very clean, nice people and priced rite. If we are ever traveling through Ocala and need service this is the place we will go.
I had repairs at PatRicks in January 2011 and believe they intentionally damaged my motorhome because I refused other overpriced repairs. They quoted $1,767. to put in new plugs and ignition coils. I purchased the new parts at NAPA and installed them in less than 1 hour for a cost less than $600. I calculate that their hourly repair rate would have been about $1,167. Talk about gouging the customer. They did perform repairs on the brakes charging over $900. and somehow in the process the rear axel seal was damaged causing gear oil to leak from the rear axel. Luckily I found the damaged rear axel seal and fixed it correctly before it caused irreversable damage, an accident or injury. I would not trust any work from PatRicks.
