. I had to put in an hourly rate, obviously this does not pertain to the case I am speaking o. fMy daughter purchased her first automobile from Dave a 2003 Jeep Cherokee for 6k. Seven days later the transmission, radiator,front brakes, belt and numerous other things needed to be replaced. Not to mention the head gasket was leaking. He has a great friend who "inspects" the cars he is selling for him and gives the "ok".After spending an additional 3k for the repairs we finally had someone take it off our hands. Hard lessons learned for both myself and my daughter. He took advantageof a kid and a single parent (cant get much lower than that). After all was said and done all I heard when I told people about it was that they heard he was a true thief from the word go and DMV had plenty of violations on him. He is a very smooth talker and can really convince you and in the background sitting at the desk will be his father backing his every lie. Please don't make the same mistake we did. STAY AWAY!!!
