Never I repeat Never take your car to Monro Muffler and Brake on 1390 N. Hamilton Rd. Gahanna , Ohio 43230 .They are a bate and switch shop, and they tried to rip me off. , They tried to charge me double for the brake job.$700.00 When I told them what a brake job should cost they then came back with a price half what the original quote was for. I got my keys and left. I guess they thought because I was a woman they could rip me off. When I dropped the car off the guy at the counter John said "how much are you willing to spend to make the car safe." I told them for the beginining I was in between jobs and I couldn't afford alot.Especially for a 12 year old car that I didn't know how long I was keeping. A reputable shop won't come back with a price 1/2 what the first quote is for the same repair, or ask you how much you have to spend.
