I don't leave home very often, but I have a very special cousin who lives in Green Valley who I have not seen in several years. We made a plan to see each other and settled on some dates that were good for us both. I traveled 7 hours from Albuquerque to spend time with this special woman. About 50 miles outside of Green Valley I stopped for gas and noticed a very acrid and pungent odor coming from my car. No smoke, just the odor. Hoping for the best I continued my journey. After a fitful night wondering what could be wrong with my car ( burning smells are never a good sign) and looking up business after business in Green Valley, I started calling around to see if I could rouse anyone on a Saturday. Gerald of JM Automotive was the only business that returned my call. I explained to him what I had found ( leaking CV joint) and he said he'd call me back to see if he could get the part I needed. He called his mechanic Tony who was working in the garage and set it up for me to drop off my car for Tony to take a look. Tony took the car in, repaired it in about 3 hours, checked all the things you should check under the chassis, encouraged me to think about getting new tires when I get home, and sent me on my way. Dealing with both of these men was a distinct pleasure, and I so much appreciated their willingness to repair my car so I could leave again on Monday morning for back home. The price was reasonable, the service was excellent, and the customer's service was unparalleled. If they were in Albuquerque, they would definitely be my mechanics.
