I had my car towed to this place by their towing employee while i was at school. My truck wouldnt start, late at wally world the night before. it is a 1974 chevy, not that hard to diagnose the problem. I said when it starts the starter grinds, i said check the shims and figure it out. I never said that I needed a jump because i left my lights on. I have done that and im not afraid to admit the mistake. Their customer service is good, they called me 4 hours later and said pick it up, apparently my battery cables were lose and my battery was dead. So they charged my battery and tightened my battery cables and charged me $25 bucks plus the $65 tow. The tow price is about right compared to my hometown of the similar populaltion. I know a 2 week old battery doesn't die because the battery cables are lose, and I didnt leave my Lights on. So i took it somewhere else after I had the same problem, my alternator wire was lose and there was a frayed ignition wire on the positive battery cable that should have been replaced. (not the cause of my problem, just a good service man would have noticed it, and fixed it) The other place charged my battery up and told me that for nothing. I stopped in tonight and tried to talk to the owner, the guy at the desk was very considerate and listened to my complain about the part that I brought in and showed him and asked why this wasnt replaced and why they didnt resolve the issue of my battery dieing. He was very considerate and I wasnt blaming him, his name wasnt at the bottom of the slip that states who worked on my truck. I will be stopping into Gordy's tomorrow and talk to the owner and resolve the issue of what was "Fixed" on my pickup, and what i was charged for and why I had the same problem. Their location is PRIME! right next to campus and it is a good thing, because their clientele is recycled through the town every 4 years or so. I will not take my car or truck there again.
