This asshole told me over the phone originally it would be $350 to change my rack. and i brought him the rack. keep in mind non of us knew whether it had the evo component or not. and it turned out the rack i brought was the incorrect one. so i attempted to locate the rack and the store said we couldnt get it in here till 11 the next day. so he charged me 150$ for it sitting on the rack overnight for something that wasnt my fault. then he proceeded to charge me 61$ to tighten bolts like that's an impossible task. then after i was driving home I noticed that my car was acting up really badly and it wanted to die. I managed to barely make it home and i noticed they unbolted my 02 sensor , and intake was broken at the throttle body.

Four weeks ago I took my truck to JUST BRAKES for the $99.00 brake job B.S.!! The brake job cost me $785 they told me I had to replace all the brake hardware, rotors and all this other crap. Now mind it that was 4 weeks ago my brakes squeel so badly you would think a missle was landing. I took truck back to them and they wouldnt warranty anything because I didnt replace the rotors like they sujested. Yesterday I took my truck to see Good Ole Boys they removed the tires measured my rotors and told me they were still under spec. I asked why my truck is squeeling. CHEEP PADS brake dust all over my wheels and noise. Good ole boys replaced all my pads machined my rotors AND replaced hardware that was included in the brake pads. $785 worth of junk to $589 top of the line parts and service, and NO issues now. JUST BRAKES you need to find another line of work Thank You Good Ole Boys for fixxing there bad service and parts! I will be back for my normal maintenance and service thanks again...Jack

On 6-30-11 I took my car in for a brake job,,I told the owner of the shop the problem I was having and he explained that to be sure he would have to dis-assemble and inspect the brake system. I told him that I know he and his employee's do not work for FREE and how much would the inspection be? He told me that it would be $75.00 and take about an hour. I thought WOW ! what a deal..everyone else is trying to scam me into there shop with specials and other gimmics but he was straight forward and honest about it.. I sat for awhile untill he came in and began to explain the noise I heard..I was SHOCKED when he told me that I didnt need a brake job and the problem was that I had ran over something that bent a dust cover over and was touching the rotor. He said that he had bent it back in place and cleaned the rotor and that I shouldnt have any more problems... AMAZING !! Any other shop would have done a full brake job and said nothing.. As far as that other guy that didnt see a diagnostic charge sign,,,, I guess he aint from around here....I dont work for free and do not expect others too. As far as I am concerned,,,the best $75.00 I spent all month.!!

On 6-29-11, I brought my 73 Ford Mustang in at Good Ole Boys Auto for brake done. The Estimate was $200. I left the car there over night to work on it. Next morning, the owner Chris Bryan called and told me it will cost $750.00 and didn't mention any diagnostic charge of $75 on the phone or the day before. I requested to take the car back. I went to the G.O.B. office to pick up my car and Chris refused to release the car without paying $75 in cash. My drive was gone to school at 10:45am on 6-30-11. I was asked to go get the cash and come back, when I have no car. The friendswood police was called by me at 11:10 am and the police arrived at 11:40am. The police explained that this is civil matters and cop can't force the owner to release the car to me. The cop talked to both of us individually. I asked the cop for a ride to the bank to get cash since I've no vehicle, and the owner refused to take credit card. After returned to the shop with the cash, I paid $75 and told Chris that there is no diagnostic charge sign displace anywhere in his office in the front of the cop, also He didn't mention the charge yesterday nor on the phone and he agreed. My complain to you is that first, he didn't let me know about the diagnostic charge of $75 on 6-29-11 or on the phone on 6-30-11. Second, Chris didn't posted any diagnostic charge sign in his office or anywhere in his shop. Third, he didn't take credit card for the diagnostic charge. Thanks
