(Parts, labor & work done listed are not including labor to get to these parts, or putting front end back together, as I was in the middle of doing it myself, and I supplied some parts as well. Do not expect to have all this done for this amount) These guys really helped me out, more than any shop I've ever been to. I live a few blocks from these guys and this was my experience with them... I was in the middle of trying to do a job on my engine and ran into the need for a special tool which was not available from the dealership or parts store, had to be ordered. I stopped into German Autowerke to see if they may know where I could get one right away and Mike & his mechanic offered to lend me the tool later in the afternoon! Stopped into the shop later that day and after asking a few questions, they actually stopped what they were doing and showed me on another engine, same as mine, how to get to one of the tensioner seals and few other parts that were tricky. After seeing how to do it, and finding another part that needed to be replaced, I realized that it was going to need more done on it than I could do myself, so Mike said to bring it over and he'd take care of it for what I could afford (which ended up being hundreds less than any other shop, period). There is more to my experience with these guys...over the next few days, they explained and showed me everything, I walked away knowing how to do it myself, and my S4 is running better than it did when I bought it. I can say that Mike and his mechanic definately went out of their way to to help me out... They know german engines well, have low parts cost, and the best deal on labor. They also have 18mo / 18Kmile warranty. I have no doubt that they stand behind their work and I will not hesitate to go back.
