My repair was supposed to be completed in 3 days, but it ended up taking 2 months to complete the work. Each time a deadline was exceeded, I had to initiate the calls and problem resolution. Many times I could not get through on the phone line. Other times I left messages they promised to return within the hour- I had to call back days later because they failed to call me as promised. I was very understanding until they confronted me with additional charges almost 6 weeks after I picked my car up from their service center. Unfortunately, I couldn't even get the service manager to take a phone call to discuss the concerns I had at that point. Long story, but this staff does not follow up with their customers. They ignore messages, and cannot keep their paperwork together. I had been trying for an additional 3 weeks to get the correct paperwork on this "surprise charge" when I finally called MBUSA to get assistance and have the Germain service manager (finally) answer his phone. I was on hold for a while. During that call, the service manager directly told me it is the dealership's practice to ignore emails after a "certain point." So, you can't get them to answer or return phone calls. If you have to resort to emails, they will not respond and they will not give you any warning that your concerns are going unanswered. This dealer has provided the worst service I have have encountered. I have shared my story with 13 individuals since yesterday- none of these individuals could believe what I went through with this dealership. Five of those individuals will be involved in a car purchase in the next 6 months, and none of them are going to this dealer. I wouldn't even recommend them for an oil change.
