My son had just turned 16 and for the weekend he wanted to drive down to the beach to meet some of his friends. He’s normally a pretty responsible kid so my husband and I agreed to let him take my Chevy Tahoe out to Carlsbad for the weekend. When he came home on Monday we walked out to the car and saw that the entire front passenger’s side was dented in. We immediately asked my son what happened and if anyone got hurt. He said no one was in the car at the time, what happened was they were playing around in a shopping cart and one of the boys jumped out in time so that he didn’t hit my car, however they were not able to stop the shopping cart in time so my car took the brunt of the impact. Needless to say we were pretty upset; however my son said “why don’t you take it to that body shop that has the big smiley face in front of it?” So we took it Fountain Valley Body Works and explained what happened. They said not to worry they see things similar all the time. They took the car and did an amazing job. You would never be able to tell that it was in a shopping cart accident. I would recommend them to anyone and to keep their number handy if you have a teenage boy.
