The day before all tires were scheduled to be replaced, I took my minivan to the Schofield Firestone. The next morning when the work was completed, my van was ready for pickup. All seemed well. Slowly I found incriminating clues. Some mornings I discovered shredded paper, chewed up bits of plastic straws in the glove box, but other days, exposed cabin floor as the carpets were eaten. Meanwhile my husband observed a neighborhood cat lingering in our yard. Occasionally I would vacuum up small feces. I tried baits and traps but continued to find insulation bits, paper shreds, and fecal droppings. Worse yet, I would be pelted by foreign material whenever I turned on the a/c. As a last resort I placed ammonia in the car. My husband noticed that the cat didn't linger anymore. I vacuumed the droppings...hoping the rodent was gone - finally!
