Dennison's Autocare

I was recommended to check out Dennison's Autocare by a long time customer and talk to Jay when my car did not pass inspection and needed quite a bit of work. Dennison's Autocare not only did a fantastic job, but the price was great and far under what I was quoted at other local shops. Jay was extremely friendly and accommodating with my crazy schedule working two jobs. I would highly recommend making this your only auto repair place for anyone looking for a fair and honest price!! My car will be running for many more years and I will be a very happy returning customer when my 10+ year old car will inevitably need future work!

Owner Jay Dennison knew we run this vehicle hard and for long distances. We brought half a dozen vehicles to his shop for over $6500 worth of work in the last 12 months, and his work has become sloppier and his attitude toward making right when he's done poorly got worse and worse. After ruining the first power steering pump, the second also failed, and then he put the old serpentine belt back on even though it needed replacing. When confronted with the belt that should have been replaced, he behaved poorly and begrudgingly replaced the belt at 2x cost, finally agreeing to drop the labor for replacing the belt. The vehicle has been leaking power steering fluid badly since that second pump was replaced by what he said was a factory Ford pump - yet it clearly shows a stamp indicating it was re-manufactured. When we took the van back for the owner to see what might be causing the fluid leak, he stated we needed a new hose because o-rings were not working: he said we needed a new $70 hose and $1250 in labor. A different garage found he had not tightened a nut for the PS fluid hose, and no new parts or labor were needed. Avoid this garage.
