I brought in my 2002 Mercedes CLK 430 for replacement of the valve gaskets due to oil leaking. When I picked up the car, my wife and I recognized a large inverted dent on the driver side door. In addition, the inside door panels were broken off and in other areas they panels were lifted and were not sitting properly. We asked Mr. Darling, the owner, what happened. But he denied doing anything and became very confrontational - even though there was nothing wrong with the door when we left it there. In addition, my wife attempted to leaving and tried to roll up the window but noticed that the motor was clicking like it was rubbing on something within the interior of the door. The window will now only close when the door is open. This is my worst experience ever working with an auto mechanic. I've had mechanics make mistakes in the past and own up to them. But, Darling flat out denied he did anything wrong - even with photos of the car taken just prior to bringing in the car. Now, a valve cover gasket replacement will most like cost me well over $1.5k.
