I brought in my car to repair a smash in the back. When my repair was done the trunk did not align properly. Frank the manager gave me a couple of excuses why it didn't fit properly. First, it was 'they all look like that - go look on the lot'. When I sent a pic of my car 2 weeks prior to the wreck, with the trunk aligned, I received no response. When I returned to have my trunk adjusted Frank refused and told me the power trunk closer warps all of these deck lids. I contacted my insurance as they guaranteed the repairs, they called the shop while I was on the phone, and they said bring it in tomorrow. I sent my wife to the shop where they told her the same 'warped trunk' excuse and wouldn't do anything about correcting the problem. I decided to fix it myself - I have worked body and paint for over 20 years and was certified as a master paint and body tech by I-CAR. When I pulled the stuff out of the trunk, the floor was covered with surface rust from left over metal grinding debris that was never cleaned up. I had to fix that too. I gave 2 stars as the paint work was excellent. 5.4.15 - adding one star for customer service - I earlier wrote a review for Craftmaster. Apparently I cannot edit my review so I want to add this. Craftmaster on Merritt Island was recently acquired by Gerber Collision & Glass. An area manager for Gerber called me and asked if I had time to speak. He apologized a lot and offered to make it right. Unfortunately that was not practical as a)I already corrected it myself, and b)I live in San Francisco and had taken my car home. The area manager, Steven, genuinely tried to make it right for me and as that was not possible he offered a modest gift for my hassle and time on the phone.
