Stay far away from Clints Custom Cars - that is unless you enjoy a "mechanic" keeping your car for 4 weeks and not even touching it. This "mechanic" told us to drop the car off and that it would be a simple fix after he ordered the part. Since he doesn't communicate with his customers AT ALL, we had to keep calling him to get status updates. The excuses were cliche and pretty ridiculous (he was broken down in Utah for example). We finally gave him an ultimatum and told him that he has one week to figure it out and that we would be by to pick it up. It's all on his time though - he tells us that we have to call him before heading over to make sure that he's at the shop. Unreal. Here's the worst part of this horror story: we show up to pick up the car (thinking that work had been done per our last phone conversation) and the car isn't even at the shop. In a rude fashion he tells us that it's at his "new" shop and that he's been moving. Again, no communication. We follow him to the new shop and the car is sitting outside. However, since he hadn't fixed the door handle as requested, he couldn't get into the car at all (which was the problem we took it to him for). I dialed AAA for a tow since this joker couldn't even get into the car. After finally gaining entry, he suddenly remembers that he left the keys at the old shop. He tells us to wait and he'll be right back. This "mechanic" actually just weaseled his way out of handing them over as 10 minutes later he calls us and says "Oh, ca you check inside the car? I think the keys are in there." The one thing he's entrusted with and he doesn't know where it is. Now, having 4 weeks pass by, I am back at square one in need of getting my car fixed. Horror story. Stay away if you value your time and actually having your car repaired!
