I went to Canaan to get my brakes checked and shocks replaced. I dropped my car off at 10 am and was told that they would call me with an estimate. I never got a call.
At 5:30 I started calling them, because they advertise that they close at 6. There was no answer. So I got a lift and drove up to the shop. They were closed! And my car was locked up inside the shop! I did NOT give them consent to keep my car overnight. I needed my car to get to work the next day.
So I unexpectedly had to find a ride to work the next day. I started calling at 8:30, and they finally answered at 9:15. Advertised open time is 9. Josh told me they had closed the night before at 5:30.
When I asked him why he didnt call me, he didnt really have an answer, but they hadnt done anything with my car at all!
So I went up to the shop, got my car back, and took my business elsewhere. This is horrible customer service. It would have jepordized my job if I hadnt been able to find a ride. I will never go to Canaan again, and neither will anyone else I know
