E.T. Goodwin (owner) did the brakes on my van. I felt like he wanted a lot ($551.00) for the work performed. When I had a problem with the final work, I took the vehicle back twice. His attitude was arrogant and curt. I got no help with the problems I felt on the brakes. On my third visit back to try to talk with him about what the problems were, the very 1st thing he did was to try to get me to sign a paper that stated I had deliberately tried to make the brakes fail so I could validate my complaint. (This is ridiculous!) He took my picture with his phone camera and he video taped my visit and comments. He told me he would not do any more work on my van unless I signed and agreed to an additional $712.00 worth of work. He was arrogant and it was obvious he was not interested in truly helping me any further. He said I would have to agree to work that he himself had told me was probably not needed, but he said that because I had complained he was not going to touch my van again unless I agreed to those parts and labor and paid for it. I don't know what he expected me to do, but I did not sign anything and he will never work on any of my cars in the future. E.T. Goodwin has left me in a bad situation and it appears the only thing he is interested in is covering his own mistakes or making me pay a VERY HIGH PRICE to "get it done right". NO THANKS!
