The owner of this service center is rude and unprofessional. Stay away from this place. Run. Take your car to anyone but Bruce Brown Service Center.

I woke up Saturday morning to find that my car had a flat rear tire. I removed the tire and rode to Browns Service Center on the mini spare. Being that Brown's was the first place that I seen (I'm from out of state), I stopped. But after paying the bill to have a tire plug installed I knew that I should have continued further north a couple of miles. A PLUG! $30.00, apparently the owner (old gentleman I spoke with) doesn't mind over pricing out of state people. But that's the wrong way to do business, especially now a days. Other than informing those I know who frequent the area this review is to warns people. Do yourself a favor and save your money, if you can dive two to four miles further north on route 1, you'll find an honest reputable business willing to help without ripping you off. The reason why I gave Brown's a below average and not a poor rating is because they at least fixed the tire. If I only were home it would have cost $7. (seven dollars) at a truly honest business.

I thought the mark-up on the part was insane. The part cost him $145.00. He charged me $265.00. I know this was less than an hour job, but he charged me $120.00 for labor. I feel that just because I was an out of state tourist I was put over a barrel and he had his way with me.
