Took the car in and asked for an estimate. Was not told there would be any fee. When we decided to not get the car repaired there due to the high estimate, they wouldn't let us have our car, unless we paid a $47 diagnostic fee (for hooking a machine to the battery). When I asked why we weren't told ahead of time there would be a diagnostic fee (several in the town offer free diagnostics), we were told "you didn't ask". Btw, CarX and Car Clinic in Westfield offer free diagnostics.
