Hello all, was looking for a good used vehicle so I stopped in to check out the selection of vehicle's they had for sale. A Jeep Cherokee caught my eye so I asked if it was in good mechanical shape, was told they go over in check out the car in full detail. During the first test drive I asked if we could try out the 4wd the mechanic with me said he wasn't sure on the procedure to safely enter 4wd so I said ok can try out on another test drive after I read up on it. After the test drive we get back and I ask if we could open the hood, first thing I noticed was a smell of burning oil, pointed it out and he was like hmm they should of fixed that, then looked down to see the belt was incredibly poor condition he was like guess will fix that as well, took 3 days went back to test drive it again with the knowledge of how to safely try out 4wd. So I enter full-time awd in the Jeep starts making very bad noises in I was like ok guess this has some major issues, he was like guess they didn't check if 4wd worked, was so upset had my elderly mother there so I could buy the vehicle then drive it home, waste of my time would say these guys sell lemons would not trust them will never return so disappointed.
