WARNING!! DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, LAZY WORKMANSHIP AND BAIT & SWITCH ACCOUNTING PRACTICES!! When the engine in my Mazda blew I began looking for a shop with reasonable rates that could get the job done quickly. I spoke with the owner who assured me over the phone they could have it done within two weeks and under my budget of $2,500.00. I had them tow the car to the shop the next day. Their main estimator was starting vacation, so they were not even able to start the official quote process until he got back ONE WEEK LATER! The owner failed to mention this, but it soon became apparent that they don't care about customer service and will say anything to get you in the door. The owner also said that if it were to go over $2,500.00 that they would work with me to schedule payments to resolve the rest of the debt. Long story short, they got the car on July 26th and did not return it to me until August 23th. After all was said and done, the estimator told me that they have NEVER offered payment plans on large installs, and if I did not pay off the balance they were going to charge me a $31.00 storage fee per day until I picked it up. I ALMOST LOST MY CAR BECAUSE OF THEIR DECEPTION!! Luckily I was able to secure emergency financing to resolve the issue, however had they been straight with me in the beginning, about the quote and the time estimate, I would not have had them take the car; I would have looked for who could have done the work inside my budget or waited until I could afford the full repair. Two days after I got the car back, the check engine light came on. I took it to the auto parts store and had them check the code, and it turns out the engine was misfiring. When I took it to the shop, they were unable to figure out what was causing the issue and said they would need me to leave the car with them. I scheduled a service date for Thursday and Friday, September 27th and 28th a week and a half ago. I got a call today that they had just started the investigation at 3pm and couldn't figure out what the problem was; funny, they've had the car since last night and they didn't even start until now?? They were unable to tell me what was causing the issue, or possible problems that could cause a misfire (and how long each would take to resolve), but assured me I would have the car back. HOW CAN YOU TELL ME I'LL HAVE IT BACK TOMORROW IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS?! Just the same stall tactics they employed from the beginning, and I'm confident they will not be able to give me the car back by tomorrow. Lies, double-talk, deception - typical good old boy repair shop bull.... This is the WORST shop I have ever done business with, and once they get my engine right and my warranty is up I will NEVER EVER EVER make the mistake of going to them again. I wouldn't even trust them with an oil change!! Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs!!
