The cost for towing less than 5 miles away and less than 24 hours at their lot was 250.00. I think it is obvious they are a predatory company. I guess the hourly rate must be 1000.00 based on my bill.

This is a predatory company in my opinion. My son parked in the wrong place during his first weeks at the university and Bee Line (contracted by university) towed his car the 1 mile to their facility. The tow bill was $90 for that (probably took 10 minutes). Then they did not inform him that it would be $25/day "storage fee" which they later said is a "good deal" because $50/day is their normal rate. Since he did not know about these fees, he did not pick it up for a week.
So in the end they stole the balance of my son's summer job savings. Their business model is to get as much money from the people they serve as possible, based on our experience. One month of "storage fees" at their normal rate would pay my mortgage and all my utilities. A speeding ticket costs less than half of what this "wrong parking spot" incident cost. The owner is trying to make a mint out of a small business that should be serving people fairly. We were horrified.

I was the victim of a hit and run, and my car needed to be towed. Bee Line changed a $175 tow fee, a $20 mileage fee, a $40 a day storage fee, and a $65 re-tow fee. I don't think I got treated fairly, and I will never use Bee Line again.
