Brought my Honda Accord in for a brake inspection in the morning. I was promptly greeted by the owner-Sean. It's nice to see that mom and pop shops are still around. He had my car on the lift. Two guys shot off front and rear wheels wheels. The owner inspected the front, rear pads and rotors. He told me that only the front pads could stand to be replaced or I could wait maybe another 3-6 months or until the wear indicator came on. He didn't try to sell me rotors or rear pads like some of the other shops I have been to. I decided to have the pads replaced since the car was already there. The shop was not busy at the time, and the owner said it could be done in less than an hour. I went to the coffeeshop just a few steps away. About 30 minutes later, I received a call letting me know that the car was done. I barely finished eating my cheese danish and coffee. I think they have many of the common vehicle pads in stock and that helped expedite the work time. Also, I think they have two guys working at the same time.
