Just a heads up to anyone looking to get their diesel repaired. DO NOT go to Advanced Diesel Performance. They diagnosed my dads truck as bad injectors. Told him that they isolated the problem and it would fix it. Then found out the motor was blown. Now we already figured the motor was blown but, they assured him it was the problem. Then they wouldn't release the truck until he paid full price for the repairs "they said" it needed, yet didn't fix it. The right thing to do would have been for them to return the new parts and charge half the labor cost. So, just a heads up. If you want your diesel misdiagnosed and to be charged for repairs you don't need, then by all means take your truck there! As a fellow small business owner it really upsets me that they would handle it like that. I understand mistakes in diagnosing engines happens but, as a professional you need to stand beside your work and your word. If you tell someone you found the problem and it will fix it and it doesn't.... you need to do the right thing and accept fault. I'm not saying it should be free, but definitely not full price of repair which was $1500 btw. It takes an already difficult situation and makes it worse.
