I took my 2006 Jeep Wrangler to them as it was hesitating shifting into gear automatically. Although a sporadic issue throughout the day it did occur like clockwork each morning during its first drive of the day. Absolute had it for one week waiting for a part then told me they corrected the issue by replacing the temp sensor. Cost $211.48 Four days later the problem re-occurred. I had the car checked by another local mechanic business as I needed a tune up. They did a courtesy check and found the sensor replaced by Absolute to be leaking. I returned the car to absolute and left it with them for another week as I was going out of town. They were to call me if there were issues or needed additional work. No calls from them. I had to call them and learned they did not even check for the leak so I had to leave the car another 3 days. When I picked up the Jeep they told me they fixed it and it tested fine. They gave me no paperwork to document the work they did on it. Two days later it was worse. I took the car back to the other mechanic who found the sensor was faulty in that it was failing to read temperature correctly. They reprogrammed the sensor and downloaded & installed a new updated OEM Computer program which cost me $129.99. I called Absolute to again explain that another mechanic had to fix their work and was informed they did their job and "if you don't like it file a complaint." Rude, poor work, poor customer service. Definitely never returning and do not recommend them for any transmission work no matter how minor or any mechanical work at all.
