I took my A6 in for braking problems, plus a nasty squeak, and I went ahead and asked for a complete list of things that needed to be done. I got a quote for $2300. I asked the owner if they had the necessary equipment to work on an Audi, and he said yes, so I told him to go for it. 2 weeks later, I get a call to pick up my car. When I get there, we go for a test drive! I noticed that my car pulled somewhat dangerously to the right, and he told me that was NORMAL after an alignment, which is obviously utter BS. I also realized that the braking difficulties and the squeak, which I had brought the car in for, were still there. Long story short, it took 5 VISITS over a month and a half for them to even try to fix anything. They charged me the full 2k, and all they did was change the brakes and brake fluid, fix the sway bar link (cleared the squeak), and clear the fault codes(which came back after 3 days.) Oh, and my brakes still don't work right, nor do most of the things he "Fixed." My car was actually worse off after I got it back, as he broke several interior pieces, My interior is tan, so there was greasy fingerprints everywhere, and they spilled something reddish brown all over the driver's side carpet. I was planning to fix it up and sell it, but I can forget doing that now. After all this, I confronted him, and he told me "Yeah, we don't have the necessary computer diagnostic systems to work on an Audi." If you remember, in the first paragraph, he said he had everything needed after I asked him. So he lied to me to get my money, and then refused any refunds. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy if they gave me my money back in full, and paid me for referrals.
