2003 Mercedes Benz CLK320 Base 6 Cyl 3.2L

Transmissions & Drivetrains

what is wrong with my car, each time i am driving, the handbrake lights comes on in the display panel and it get stuck

the car gets stuck in any gear regardless when the handbrake lights come on. i went for diagonostics and was asked to replace my wheel speed sensors and i did, but the problem still persists. the present milage is about 60000km and i recently had to replace the brain box and EGS module.
i started noticing it when i was driving and i pullled over but kept the car running, by the time i was driving off it just wouldn't shift. each time this happens and i switch off the car and swith it back on again it drives normally, that is, untill the light comes on again.
it happens regardless of the engine being hot or cold, it could occur when i'm driving or i stop and frequently.
The check engine light comes on and off, and i have the ESP,ABS lights on as well.

Did you already check your brake fluid level and diagnose your vehicle with a scan tool to verify if there is a stored trouble code? If possible check out the TSB's for your vehicle on this link http://www.automd.com/recall-tsb/search/ just click the title of the TSB to see its summary.
