frankie 9/19/2011check transmission filter
k+dtrans+auto 9/20/2011The teeth being stripped off the govenor will cause this problem. Round cap on the side of trans. just before the tail housing, remove and pull out govenor to inspect gear on end of it. Little plastic gear goes bad with time, but easily fixed.
Draco 10/23/2011is it as manual or standard tranny. if standard its often the sicros within between each gear or the hard rubber at the bottom of the shifter shaft inside the gear box that lets it glide in the grooves of the gear changer diameter slot on top thus when worn it looses its ability to push the gear changer into posision all the way and will twist to the point of jamming but you can feel the slop in the shifter you hold, and a bit later often starts to make a ting noice from metel on metal in the slot if it didnt tweek insde and jam up yet. if automatic check linkage if it came unconnected and fluid levels. im not that familiar with tranny internal workings, yet.
