2006 Chevrolet Malibu LT 6 Cyl 3.50L

Engine

All warning lights are on and electric steering is out.

2006 Malibu LT, 3.5L V6. I drive about 3 miles to work. This morning the low was 23 deg. As i was turning into the parking lot all of the dash warning lights and audible bell came on and I lost power steering. The engine was still running and i parked it. I came back out that afternoon and it started with no signs of the issue from that morning.
I checked voltage at the alternator and reads 14vdc. The battery is only a month old.
Is there something specific I need to look for or was it just the cold temps. FYI, this car has 302,000 mi on it and have had no problems before.
Thanks, David

Jimm, thanks for the response. I am aware of the power steering recall. Wound this cause all of the warning lights to come on (battery, airbags, seatbelt, antilock breaks, etc.)?

Yes, very possible. The recall repair may also include a reflash or reprogramming.
