1992 Chevrolet C1500 Silverado 6 Cyl 4.3L - Engine
My truck won't start unless the engine is primed with gas.
The truck sputters I replaced the fuel pressure regulator and the fuel filter, it looks like the fuel pump is next any ideas on what the problem could be to avoid replacing any Necessary parts? I am thinking since there is no fuel at the injectors the only other thing could be the pump? Thanks not mechanically inclined.

    The Fuel System Pressure

9-13 PSI (Pounds per Square Inch)Position the ignition switch and the A/C system in the off position. Install a fuel pressure gauge to the vehicles fuel rail supply line. Place the ignition switch in the on position, confirm that no leaks are present, and start the engine. Visually verify the fuel pressure reading on the gauge.

If the fuel system pressure isn't in the criteria, replace the fuel pump.
