Are you able to keep it running by giving it some throttle? Or, it stalls out no matter what you do with the gas pedal?

First thing is checking the condition of the battery and connections. Chrysler products are very sensitive to low voltage and weak batteries or corrosion on the battery terminals often bring on an intermittent failure of the idle speed control causing stalling and no idle control. So, bottom line is before I tell you to replace the idle speed control, make sure that the battery is not too old, make sure it is good - have it load tested if it is not old enough to replace, and make sure the battery terminals are nice and clean and shiny where the battery terminal meets the battery post and make sure the battery cable copper wire is a good connection where it meets the battery terminal. If all that is good then replace the idle speed control.

the battery is very new. It's just not getting gas flow enough to turn on unless you pump the pedal. Idle control may be a sign. but I don't know how much one cost an could I replace or should I use teck?. What are the systoms of a bad fuel filter. thanks

It is easy to replace, you definitely can DIY. here is the part >> http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/.../DECV10155.html

Fuel filter would not give you no idle. The filter should be replaced like every 40k but that is not the cause here.
