Will the starter cause my truck to hesitate?

Hi, i just asked you a question 2 days ago. I just wanna know if the starter can cause my truck to hesitate like that. This morning i had trouble strarting my truck. Should i change my started.

I assume that you mean the engine has a problem maintaining the cranking while the key is turned to start it? To determine if the starter is the cause or if the cause is insufficient available battery power you have to measure the amperage draw while cranking. There can be a few causes of cranking "hesitation" including a bad starter, a bad battery, dirty battery terminals or poor battery ground connection, and also can be caused by ignition timing that is too advanced. You have to diagnose it or just change it and see.
