    The passenger side has 2 shafts
    the center has play in it. Is there a bearing holding them up. If there is do you sell it.

      I have never seen this bearing fail in 30 years. maybe you are seeing some in and out play that is normal end play? Is there symptoms like a severe vibration? The bearing number in one supplier I found is CENTRIC Part # 41262001 but my gut feeling says u do not need it unless you have other detail untold.

      the bearing must of went from driving through salt water that comes in the road once in a while. Centric part only sells to a business. Do you know a car parts place that will have that bearing that sells to a car owner. thank you

    I have two shafts on the right side the middle there is play in the center is there a bearing holding them in place

    What can cause clutch fluid to come out the bottom of trans
    fluid leaks out the bottom of trans and nowhere else

      If you are sure it is clutch fluid and not trans fluid or engine oil then the clutch slave cylinder is leaking. If the slave cylinder is inside the bell housing and I believe it is then you will have to remove the transmission to fix. This would also be the time to replace your clutch. Sorry but it will be expensive to fix.

    My car keeps stalling
    -just got battery replaced -stalls if air conditioner is on and when I stop -air conditioner was blowing cold before I got the battery and is no longer blowing cold -car has 151000 miles

    Why won't my new battery hold a charge overnight?
    This is the second new battery in 3 months. It will only start with jumper cables not my portable charger. What could be draining the battery so often? The car has 87,000 miles and has not had any serious. problems in the past.

    What would make the clutch stick
    as i push the clutch in it does not want to release what should i do

      This would indicate a problem with any on these components; clutch release bearing, clutch hydraulic master cylinder, clutch hydraulic slave cylinder.
      Most likely, the issue is with the clutch master or slave cylinders - and these are ususally replaced in pairs at the same time.
      Check the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.autopartswarehouse,, or for the replacement parts. For example, they (RockAuto) list the clutch master cylinder from around $78.00 and the clutch slave cylinder from around $53.00 for your vehicle.

      The clutch release bearing should be readily available. Check the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.autopartswarehouse,,, or for the replacement parts. For example, they (RockAuto) list the clutch release bearing from around $139.00 for your vehicle; Sachs part # SB60118

      First step - have the check engine light or stored fault codes scanned - for free - at any local auto parts store; Advance Auto, Auto Zone, NAPA. Then, post a reply as 'add answer' for more assistance.

      Possible Causes of Engine Hesitation or Stumble:

      Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this)
      Dirty air filter (change filter)
      Dirty / clogged fuel filter (change filter)
      Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
      Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
      Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
      Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
      Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)
      Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)

      Sometimes, what feels like a hesitation is actually ignition misfire rather than lean misfire. The causes of ignition misfire may include:

      Dirty or worn spark plugs
      Bad plug wires
      Weak ignition coil
      Wet plug wires

    RH transaxle bearing making noise and seal leaking at CV shaft attachment point. Auto Trans (not CVT Trans)
    I need to know if the seal and bearing can be replaced (long CV Shaft side) without dismantling the transaxle. ( CV shaft removed, but transaxle still in car) Thanks, any help appreciated!

    Won't shift out of park. won't start
    was running fine. Stop at drive-through. Put it in park. Could not get it out of park. Turned car off . Wouildn't start again.

      If you are asking how to replace it, the air induction system and air filter box need to be removed to access the external filter.

    Vibration at idle and lower RPM, decreased when transmission is in neutral, decreased by replacing upper engine mount
    was already vibrating by 80,000 miles, when bought used; cylinder compression is only about 120 -130 PSI, vibration can be felt in front seat area

      Replaced left "wishbone" transmission torque mount -round bushing was loose and could rotate in metal wishbone ; not much decrease in door rattling

      motor transmission mount, under auto transmission apparently requires loosening upper mount on passenger side of engine, to allow removal - the rubberry bushing between the metal on this mount was loose

      Going to order passenger side torque mount wishbone

      At least struts and CV boots are still good at 168,000 miles!

      First step is to get a second opinion and detailed diagnosis from a trusted and reputable repair shop in your area. There is a possibility the transmission slipping just coincided with the CV / axle replacement.
      However, to answer your question - there is no reason to believe the CV joint replacement may have caused the slipping - unrelated parts - except the transmission drives the CV joint and front axle.

      UNLESS the drive axle that was replaced was not fully seated into the transmission and the noise you hear is the splines slipping against it's counter-gear. The other possible cause is that when they removed the CV axle, maybe too much transmission oil was lost (it leaks out the side of the tranny while the axle is removed) and they did not replenish it. Either way, this really does not seem right. They should have asked you to return asap to check it instead of trying to prep you for another $2000 bill for a tranny you prob do not need. If I were you, I would get a second opinion from another shop before going back to that shady place. At least you will know the real cause. The dealer might just lie to you and sell you a tranny. Do not take it to another dealer so there is no biased.

    What's going on & what will it cost to fix? My car bucks and the door locks unlock & lock while driving.

      What is throwing me off here is trying to find a common cause for both the bucking and the door locks cycling. They both have causes on their own, but I can see no relation to both. Are you certain that both conditions began at the same time / the same moment? The locks could be a bad Power Door Lock Switch on the Driver Side Front Door. Could also be caused by a bad Body Control Module. Try unplugging the electrical connector from the driver side power door lock switch and see if the locks stop cycling and if so replace the switch. I would not think that could cause bucking but heh, maybe the electrical load is doin something. Find the cause of the lock problem and see if the other problem resolves.
