Which port do you add 134A refrig coolant 2

Always add the refrigerant to the suction side of the compressor; this would be the low-pressure port. Usually the high-pressure and low-pressure ports are two (2) different sizes, so the connections cannot be mixed to accidently add the refrigerant to the high side (wrong port).

If with DIC you should turn your ignition key to on position. And then press the middle button on the right side of the steering wheel until "oil life xx% reset if new" is displayed. You should press the bottom button on the right side of the steering wheel. Press and hold bottom button until "oil life is reset to 100% is displayed. And then turn your ignition to off.

I need to know if you have electronic automatic temperature control or just regular manual heating and air conditioning. The electronic version has a digital display. You can set the temperature in numbers as opposed to rotating a hot / cold knob with the manual system.

How do I determine which oil filter to use?
I just bought this vehicle and went to the store to get the oil and filter to change them and it listed two possible filter numbers based on either a 22mm shaft or a 3/4 - 16 shaft and of course after crawling under it and looking I think I got the wrong one so How ...

Get your old one, go back to the shop and match it with the new one. Besides, you just stated there are 2 part numbers, so guess what the correct part number is now :)

Source: Thats what i do with my parts. I bring the old one to be sure.

If you can read a part # and brand on the old filter that is still attached, that I could cross reference and tell you which one you have.

Thanks for your reply but I did this with the owners manual and the fram web site and got the answer I needed this morning.

My driver side door rear-view mirror was cracked today; can I replace just the mirror?
The cover part seems okay, and I was able to clip the back of it onto the front; however, the motor inside my car does not move the mirror. Should I have the entire part replaced?

      5/8/2011 DrkShdw983
As long as there's no damage to any other parts other than the mirror you can save yourself a lot of money just replacing the mirror itself. If anything else is damaged you'll spend a lot of time trying to disassemble the whole thing and replace all the broken parts. At that point I usually just pick up another whole assembly out of the junk yard and re-finish it

My car makes this sqealing sound between 1000 and 2000 rpms only. I changed the pcv valve and it's not that.
I believe it has something to do with the air intake as my wifes explorer made a similar sound. a few years ago

Without actually hearing it, I can't say whether it's the usual minor squeak or something worse. Normally, on start-up, almost all of the oil in in the pan, so you may hear a little metal-on-metal.

Occasionally, my cars have made more than a little squeal though, and it's usually been either a belt or lubrication issue. Once was after my car leaked a quart of oil after sitting for a few days. Once was after blowing over a quart of gas into my oil pan, causing a few other problems too. And once was when I was a bit overdue for an oil change; old, broken-down oil doesn't lubricate.

If you get fresh oil, enough of it, and new, properly tensioned belts and it still does that, then get it looked at. If nothing else, you'll be buying a little peace of mind.

Do you feel the air coming out of the defroster or floor vents instead?
      5/14/2011 Jerome
yes air comes out of the defrosters, but when you turn on the temperature control knob there is this flapping noise. The fan works fine, you just cannot get any heat to come out.

Why do you ask? This sounds like a standard disclaimer decal under the hood of about 50 million vehicles.
      4/29/2011 GearAverse
The car has 2 fuse boxes one inside the car by the driver side and the other under the hood. User's manual has the warning for the one under the hood but not the one inside the car.
