    I'm replacing the complete tailgate for my Mountaineer. I have only one problem. how do I hook up the washer tube
    I believe I have to take the ceiling down to replace the tube as the used tailgate I'm replacing it with has a long tube as if the connection is a couple feet into the ceiling. I can't seem to get the ceiling down. Is there a picture and dir. to do this? Would it be ...

      Possibly a faulty headlight relay switch. Test the relay to verify this or replace it.

      Thanks for the info. Could you tell me where that relay might be located?

      The relay is located inside the junction box of the engine compartment either left or right side, just look for small black box, examine the relays in there and look for the relay with "headlamp or H/Lamp" inscription or similar of that.

    My antenna is broke at the base on the roof, Do I need to get the wiring and anetenna or just the antenna?
    does it just plug in or do you need to wire it to the engine

      replacements usually come with an antennae wire attached to them. this wire plugs into the back of the radio. if you take off the base of the antennae and the thick black wire goes from the antennae to the back of the radio

    How do I remove & replace passenger side rear view mirror?

      on the upper part of your inside door panel,think right behind the rear view mirror, there is a plate with padding on it. remove it and there will be 3 holes that a ratchet fits thru to get to the mounting bolts. remove nuts and reverse procedure

    Does the car-alarm system prevents the car to start the engine?When it thinks it is being stolen.The owner is in it.

      mine on my 95 xr7 did the same thing and all you can do is get a new one are go to and they will direct you to a rebuild kit for it, the plastic gears wear out

    Delay wipers stop wherever you turn them off 95% of the time
    new wiper motor (rebuilt) did nothing to improve the problem

      Wipers are out of their alignment at the off cycle.Make sure there is no bent in the wipers linkage moving bracket.Turn on the wiper switch, let it run for a few cycles and turn off. Re-align the wiper arms by bringing them down to their rest spot. Be safe.

      the problem is not an alignment problem. it is that the motor does not go into the "park" phase after you turn them off.

    Warm air out of drivers side
    warm air out of drivers side vents, cool air from passenger, has auto climate control. ran self diagnostic of climate control head, no codes present.

      Did you already try to check the condition of your door blend actuator? It is possible that your door blend actuator is already deteriorating. The door blend actuator controls the temperature of air being discharged.

      Check for resistance in the wiring using an ohm meter to determine if there's a grounded wire. Loose wiring connection could serve this result. High accessory load consumption and alternator low voltage output is also an option to check.

    Why does my odometer work intermittently?
    Vehicle only has 65000 miles. odometer quit workig for several weeks and now only works occasionaly. n othing else in the cluster is affected.

      VSS sensor might be dirty, loose or defective. Check and inspect its condition. Verify this using a diagnostic tool. You can visit any part shops that offer free scanning to retrieve any stored trouble codes and then post it here.
