Hi Mark, depends on the given info this sounds as a grounded wire somewhere, it will require a continuity/resistant test on the affected system. Your electrical system has a fuse box where it holds fuses for different actuators, protecting them from damage in case a short circuit occurred. Connectors has different wires in it depending to what they were connected and that includes ground wire to its composition.

The Ignition key does not turn over easily when starting. It helps to turn the key over and try again.

Hi Jack, can you rephrase your query? Did you mean when you try to on the ignition key the engine do not turn over or crank, and need to diligently try it over and over again before it starts? Check if you have battery charge and if cables are loose or corroded.

Hi Katrina, your trouble really confused me, somehow your vehicle is powered by electronic weather and time forecasting and depends on the time clock adjustment in your audio system? And lights functions depends on it, amazing....! Could this be happening?

Best to determine the trouble is with the dealership or parts shop to apply a scan tool service.

However, i assumed that you already rectify this and i would like to ask you to share your experience here. Thanks

How do you change a door hinge pin

First you need to get the right tools for the job and the right parts to fix the problem. There is a hinge pin in both the upper and lower hinges and four brass bushings and there is two different size bushings in each hinge and also two hinge pin retaining washers.as for the tools you need a spring compressor, jack, hammer, punch. First open the door all the way,put jack under door,I like to use a 2by4 board on top of the jack to help spread the wieght of the door out a little, next if the door has a wireing harness in the jamp loosen the rubber insulation form both the door and the body this gives a couble of inches of slack in the wireing.Next use the spring compressor to remove the spring, then use the punch and hammer to drive out the pins.it is very hard to get them to move an first but gets easyer as they start to move.I would recomend having a helper to hold the door upright as it will fall when the pin is removed from the hinge.Onece the pins are out move the door and jack away from the body to gain more axcess room the replace the bushings, two in the door side and two in the body side, then slide door and jack back and align hinge holes and install new pins. I allways grease the bushing and pins before installing.Drive the new pins all the way flush with the hinge and install the retainers.Reinstall the spring and reattach the wireing insulation.

Ac/heater will not turn on after car is warm

I have a couple of reasons for this.

Low coolant. If your coolant is low, the heater core is the last place to get the hot coolant. If so, fill the system and check for leaks.

Heater core is plugged -- when the car is hot, grab the hose going to the heater core and the one coming out, they should both be hot. If one isn't, try back flushing.

I have a 1994 S-10 Blazer that has a broken tailgate turn style handle. It is the kind where you turn it to work it.
it is a split glass and metal hatch. you can either open one or the other or both - the glass and the tailgate. I have bought the appropiate part, but I don't know the recommended way to replace it.

Your going to have to remove the interior panel on the inside of the tail gate. then you will gain access to the inner shell of the tail gate. remove the clips that hold the rods to the tail gate handle and then remove the tailgate handle not sure if it wi a clip holding it or if it will be bolted to the tail gate shell.

I have a blower motor/resistor problem. Truck has a 5 speed blower and only 2,3,4 speeds work. No 1 or 5
I have changed the resistor and it didnt change anything any suggestions?

The wiring harness had to be replaced because the resistor had overheated and burned into the harness. The cost to replace both with oem parts was about $300.

I've had my resistor out and burning doesnt seem to be the problem. How do I check the switch?
