If the catalytic converter is partially clogged / restricted, that may set a code for the cat and would cause hesitation, however don't jump the gun and change the cat with the expectation that it will solve the hesitation, but it will likely at least solve the code which by the way you did not state. Im guessing the code was a P0420 or a P0430?

I have a part and cant figure out what it is. It has the numbers: C271300702
Oil seems to be leaking from this. Looks like some sort of sensor. Right under the three way breathing hose and behind the cam chain tensioner.

This would be the camshaft sensor control valve; pn C271300702. No oil may leak from this sensor - as no oil goes into the sensor. The oil may be leaking from a different source.

Looking to buy this 07. Car dealer has car fax what should I look for?
We are looking at this car...heard they are expensive to fix. 60,000 miles. What are the most things these cars break down from? And if a non mac can fix these cars? I can get the parts not from online?

These cars tend to be expensive to maintain, expensive for parts. A carfax gives only so much information - try and learn just what kinds of things to inspect when buying any used car - check these websites;, - they will also have reviews and ratings for many vehicles.

The parts prices and availablity can easily be compared; check the many on-line parts sources; and - for examples
