S60 won't start, alarm malfunction, remote key can't lock
I'm having some odd issues with my 2013 S60 and hoping someone may have some suggestions as to what is going on.
Five days ago I my "check engine" light went on and when tested at my local AutoZone, results suggested that the leak detection pump needed to be replaced. As I was going out of town for the weekend, I decided to schedule an appointment with a mechanic this morning. At this time there was no problems with how the car ran.
I tried to enter my car this morning using keyless entry, and as soon as I gripped the door handle to open my car the alarm started going off, and it would not start! Car wouldn't crank or start even when placing the remote key in the ignition slot and pressing the start button. I also could not use the lock or unlock buttons in my remote key. My dashboard also showed a digital message of low battery. This alarm kept going, would stop a few seconds then begin again. It eventually stopped.
Is this a battery, or perhaps electrical issue?
