2003 Buick LeSabre Custom 6 Cyl 3.8L

Should I replace oil drain pan if thread stripped and warped

110k miles on my car. I have it for oil change at Jiffy lube. After oil change, I was told drain pan thread stripped and warped , needed to re-tapped. Can I repair it until next oil change? Is it an urgent problem? Why do they give the oil change if thread stripped and warped? How do they seal that?

They make oversize self-tapping drain plugs. Your local autostore might be able to get one for you. You can also look at an online partsbook for the part. Like rockauto.com or autopartswarehouse, some of those.

Keep an eye on the oil level and look under the vehicle to see if plug is dripping.
