Should I replace the brake calibers?
I replaced the front brake pads and now it seems that the right front brake will not disengage. THe old pads were worse on the right side then on the left. Also the vehicle pulls to the right when driving as if the brake pad is engaged. Also when you apply the brakes the vehicle pulls harder to the left. I am considering replacing the front calibers to correct this issue. I am not sure if it is the calibers or the master cylinder.
Yes, the evidence of the right side brake pads having more wear / material gone - as compared to the other side - is an indication the brake caliper may be sticking and need replacement. You may also replace the brake fluid with new. Be sure to properly bleed the brakes and install new cailper pins / hardware when installing the new brake calipers.
