2003 Dodge Durango SLT 8 Cyl 5.90L

Random misfire on cylinder is five and six

I have a Dodge Durango 2003 with a 5.9 L engine. I have a misfire on five and six I've replaced everything I could possibly replace and nothing seems to work. It will go off after a while of driving it but if I idol for too long the check engine light comes back on

P0305 - Cylinder 5 Misfire Detected
P0306 - Cylinder 6 Misfire Detected

Possible Causes:

Vacuum leak
Defective fuel injector
Defective ignition coil pack
Insufficient compression
Defective high tension wire or spark plug

Possible Solutions:

Repair vacuum leak
Replace defective injector
Replace defective ignition coil pack
Replace burnt exhaust valve
Replace defective high tension wire or spark plug

Whether you or a repair shop replaced anything,it was the wrong move.

You always gather the info on the vehicle issues & then do the required testing
to actually find a problem,anything,make those repairs,parts needed or not & continue
on, until all vehicle issues are resolve & all vehicle data is correct.

Never Guess ---- Never Install Parts --- TEST --- Find something wrong
