Radiator Fan Hitting Fan Shroud

I was in wreck a while back and sufferred front end damage since then I've heard a loud ticking noise. The fan blades are hitting the bottom of the shroud to the point where its very visible on the shroud. Any ideas on how to raise the shroud at all?

I would think you have structural metal damage from the accident,
not a fan shroud issue.

I would remove the complete fan shroud & fan, check it out for being
twisted,etc.

Then as you start to reinstall it,if it doesn't go back with no issues, you
will see where the metal is out of place.

Could be just the fan support bracket or arms are broken,in which case
you get a used part from a salvage yard.

No one can suggest much in this type of a forum on a guess.

Look at it & get it apart, the problem will be in front of you.

You never want to do a patch job on a vehicle, find the problem & restore
it to the way it was made.

I wouldn't use the car as is,you could ruin the fan motor, radiator or over heat
the engine.
