1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera LS 4 Cyl 2.5L - Brakes
I put a new brake line on it and now breaks ain't workin. Am I suppose to bleed breaks?
Peddle has no pressure. They worked fine b4 I put new break line in

    Yes, anytime the brake system is opened - the residual air must bled out of the brake lines and components first before driving. Air is compressible and fluid is not.
    Check the 'How-To-Guides' feature on the AutoMD website for the specific steps to properly bleed the brake system.

    Ok. But I was. Messin with it tryin to pump the breaks a lot . Would that wreck nething?

    Do as Jimm suggests. It should not hurt too much, just bleed that caliper you hooked new brake line to with someone gently pressing brake pedal as you open bleeder valve, don't let master cylinder reservoir run out of fluid while doing this.

    Ok so I broke the front bleater off. Idk wht to do now. I couldn't get the front 1s out . I got the back 2 out and bled them. But how can I get the broken bleater out???
