Powerstearing pump has a bad leak what can this leak affect in the long run

I bought a 2000 BMW 323I first it had a power steering leak now it has a oil leak will it be ok to drive a little under 100 miles so i can go to a shop that specializes in BMW cars

It all depends on how severe the fluid leak is - no real method to determine this via the internet.

Along with the new power steering pump, be sure to replace the power steering hoses at the same time -cheap insurance for the system and the expensive new pump.

Try these various on-line vendors for the replacement parts; www.autopartsanything.com, www.rockauto com, www.partsgeek.com - to list only a few.

In fact they (RockAuto) list the replacement power steering pump from around $106.00, and the pressure and return steering hoses from around $21.00 each (return hose) for your vehicle.
